Portalyz Editorial S. de R.L. de C.V. ("Portalyz") operates the website portalyz.com from Mexico City. This Policy describes how we handle personal data of people who visit the site and use the contact form, in accordance with the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its supplementary regulations in force in 2026.
1. Data controller
Portalyz Editorial S. de R.L. de C.V., domiciled at Av. Presidente Masaryk 214, floor 4, Bosques de Chapultepec I Sección, Miguel Hidalgo, 11580, Mexico City, is the controller of the data collected through the site. Any privacy-related enquiry can be sent to hola@portalyz.com.
2. Data we collect
Through the contact form we only collect your name, email address and the content of your message. Automatically, via cookies and similar technologies, we may collect navigation identifiers, approximate country, device type and pages visited.
3. Purposes
We use the data to reply to your editorial enquiries, improve site content, measure its aggregate use and, when you provide explicit consent, for digital advertising through Google Ads under the Consent Mode v2 standard. We do not perform credit scoring nor handle special categories of data.
4. Legal basis
The processing is based on your consent when submitting the form or accepting cookies, and on the legitimate interest of Portalyz in maintaining the security and correct functioning of the portal.
5. Transfers
Data may be processed by data processors located in Mexico, the European Union and the United States, exclusively for hosting, transactional email, analytics and advertising measurement under Consent Mode v2. We do not sell personal data.
6. ARCO rights
You may exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition (ARCO), and revoke your consent at any time, by writing to hola@portalyz.com from the email address linked to your enquiry. We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days.
7. Retention
Contact form messages are retained for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact. Technical logs are retained for up to 12 months.
8. Changes
We will update this Policy when there are relevant regulatory or technical changes. We will publish the date of the last revision at the top of the document.
