Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 January 2026
This Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on portalyz.com and how you can manage them. Portalyz operates under the Google Consent Mode v2 standard, so no analytics or advertising cookie is activated before your consent.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a site stores in your device to recognise you on return, remember preferences or measure the use of the portal.
2. Categories used
We use four categories: strictly necessary, functionality, analytics and advertising/personalisation. Only the first is activated without your explicit consent.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
When loading the site, we initialise the consent state as ‘denied’ for advertising storage, user data, personalisation and analytics. When you accept or save preferences, we update the state with gtag('consent','update', ...) and push the cookie_consent_update event to dataLayer. Google Ads (AW-18064110603) and GA4 respect this state before collecting any data.
4. Retention
Necessary cookies expire at session end. Functionality, analytics and advertising cookies have a maximum lifetime of 13 months, unless providers require a different technical setting.
5. How to manage them
You can change your decision at any time from the ‘Cookie preferences’ link in the footer. You can also delete cookies from your browser; the banner will reappear on the next visit.
6. Third parties
The main third parties that may set cookies with your consent are Google LLC (Google Ads / GA4). We do not embed social networks that set cookies without consent.
